Terms of use
SportApply is run by Corunna Developers Pty Ltd, ACN 703 453 623. By using this site you agree to these terms.
Posting job ads
- Ads must be for real jobs, or genuine volunteer roles, with the business or club named in your account.
- Ads must follow Australian law, including anti-discrimination law and the Fair Work Act: for example, no pay below the legal minimum and no unpaid trials.
- You must never ask applicants for money, or for bank, tax file number or ID document details.
- We check every ad, and may refuse or remove any ad, or close any account.
Social media posts
- When we approve a paid ad, we may share it on SportApply’s social media (such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn), using the ad’s details, your logo and any photo you give us for it. Volunteer roles aren’t shared.
- You’re responsible for any photo you give us. You must have taken it or have permission to use it, and everyone who can be recognised in it must have agreed to appear in a public post. For anyone under 18, their parent or guardian must have agreed.
- You let us use your logo and photo in these posts, and keep the posts up after your ad ends.
- We decide how and when posts go out. We may change, take down or replace a post at any time, including by taking it down and sharing a new one. If a post needs to change, use Ask for a change on your ads page, or contact us. If you close an ad early, its post says applications have closed where the platform allows it; if you delete your account, we take its posts down.
- We aren’t responsible for likes, comments or shares lost when a post is replaced, or for how the platforms show or keep posts.
Fees and refunds
- Ads for paid roles are charged per ad, at the prices on our prices page when you send the ad. Volunteer roles are free, up to 3 live or waiting for approval at a time. Prices are in Australian dollars; no GST is charged, as Corunna Developers Pty Ltd isn’t registered for GST.
- When you send a paid ad, the price is held on your card (through our payment provider, Stripe). It’s only charged when we approve the ad. If we don’t approve it, or you close it before we do, the hold is released and you aren’t charged. A card hold lasts about 7 days: if it runs out before we check your ad, you’ll be asked to pay again.
- An ad runs for the time you choose, up to 30 days after we approve it. Changing an ad doesn’t cost more, and doesn’t make it run longer.
- If you close a live ad early, or we remove it for breaking these terms, there’s no refund for the time it doesn’t run. We may give a refund at our discretion, for example if a fault on our side stopped your ad being seen.
- Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If our service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a refund or other remedy: email [email protected].
